Join us for our Autumn Concert featuring Guest Soloist Chris Flynn. Under the baton of Peter Holmes, The MacTaggart Scott Loanhead Brass Band will be playing a selection of well known, upbeat tunes and musical classics.

Taking place in Haddington West Parish Church (70 Court St, Haddington, EH41 3AF). Doors open at 7pm, with the concert starting at 7.30pm. Tea, coffee and light refreshments available at the break.

Tickets are priced at £8 and will be available on the door.

About Chris
Chris Flynn is a euphonium soloist and tutor, based in Edinburgh. 24 years old, Chris hails from Cairnoustie, Angus, and discovered his passion for performing at the age of 10 under the expert guidance of Michael Robertson (BEM).

Chris was a member of the hugely successful Carnoustie and District Youth Brass Band and principal euphonium of the National Brass Band of SCotland (NYBBS). In 2016, Chris was appointed principal euphonium with the renowned Cooperation Band (formerly the Scottish Co-Op Band) in Glasgow, regarded as one of the leading brass bands in the UK.

Chris is enthusiastic not only about performing on his instrument, but finds joy in educating and helping to inspire the next generation of brass players. Furthermore Chris is fully committed to strengthening the reach of his versatile instrument.
